Jeremy Allen White has recently opened up about one divergence point he had with Bruce Springsteen.

The Emmy-winning actor shared he got along really well with Bruce as he’s playing the rocker in the new movie, Deliver Me From Nowhere, which is based on life of Bruce’s 1982 Nebraska album.

However, there’d been one disagreement between two stars before the filming started.

While speaking to IMDb, Jeremy recalled, “I had dinner at home with him and his wife, [Patti Scialfa], before we started filming.”

“We got to talk about his music, and more specifically, we spoke a lot about ‘Reason to Believe,’” said the 34-year-old.

The Bear actor explained what he “takes away from that song, and what he thinks people misunderstand about that song”.

“I believed that there was hope in that song, and he said, ‘That’s not the case,’” stated Jeremy.

The Iron Claw star revealed suggesting to Bruce, “’Don’t you feel that when you’re writing a song, you’re kind of giving it up?’ And he said, ‘I guess you’re right.’”

“If you want to feel that way, you can feel that way. But that’s not how that was intended,’” added Jeremy.

Meanwhile, Deliver Me From Nowhere, adapted from Warren Zanes' 2023 book of the same name, is currently running in theatres now.
