Liam Hemsworth revealed that he mainly attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour because of his now-fiancée, Gabriella Brooks, but left the show as a “total Swiftie.”
The 35-year-old actor attended the star-studded concert in Wembley, where he had Hugh Grant, Greta Gerwig, Tom Cruise, Ashton Kutcher, and the pop superstar’s fiancé, Travis Kelce, all in his VIP tent.
During his new interview at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Hunger Games star, shared insider details from the crowd.
When Fallon asked how the concert was, Hemsworth replied, “Well, I'm a total Swiftie now.”
Sharing more details from the night, the Land of Bad actor recalled meeting “one of Travis Kelce's best friends, Reggie [King],” who he noted was responsible “the fun that happened. He came up to me and introduced himself. He goes, ‘Hey, man, you know, I'm one of Travis's boys.’”
Hemsworth continued, “He's like, ‘We're doing shots.’ And I was like, ‘All right. All right, we're doing shots.’ But he -- you know, it wasn't just me. He called over Hugh Grant and Ashton Kutcher and Greta Gerwig and all these people in this tent, and they all came over, and we started doing shots.”
The Lonely Planet actor continued, recounting his shock at Grant joining them for the shots, who he assumed wouldn’t be interested, "and he was like, ‘All right. Yeah, we're doing shots. Let's do it. Yeah, Hugh Grant did it.”
However, he added, as “Hugh Grant walks away, and then Reggie's like, ‘Who was that guy?’ I was like…He's a legend. Yeah, that's Hugh Grant, one of the best actors of all time. He's British royalty," which caused the audience and the host to break into a laughing fit.
The concert party didn’t end there, as Hemsworth recalled, “And then about 10 minutes later, Reggie's like, ‘We're doing more shots.’ Wow! I love…I was like, ‘Here we go.’ I love Reggie.”
The Eras Tour then became one of Hemsworth’s most memorable experiences, as he enjoyed the music as well as the company.
