Chris Evans, wife Alba Baptista’s reveal name of first baby together

Chris Evans and his wife, Alba Baptista, have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl whose name has now been revealed. 

The couple chose the sweet name Alma Grace Baptista Evans, multiple outlets reported, sharing that the new parents are “enjoying their privacy and these special first few days as a family.”

According to reports, Alma Grace arrived on Friday, October 24, at 1:27 p.m. TMZ noted that she is taking both of her parents’ last names.

Evans and Baptista married in September 2023 during a private ceremony at their home on Cape Cod, where security was tight and guests reportedly signed NDAs.

Several of Evans’ Marvel co-stars, including Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner, attended. The pair also held a second celebration in Portugal for Baptista’s family.

The two were first linked in 2021 when Baptista followed Evans and some of his relatives on Instagram, later sparking dating speculation when they were spotted holding hands in New York. 

They went public on Instagram in early 2023, and Evans later shared that he proposed in Portuguese. 

“I proposed to my wife in Portuguese,” he revealed, explaining he practiced the phrase for days until he found the confidence to ask.

Now, with baby Alma Grace’s arrival, the couple has stepped into an exciting new chapter, savouring the quiet and joy of their growing family.
