Sydney Sweeney revealed if she will ever reunite with Glen Powell for any project in the wake of their headlining grabbing romance rumours.
Talking about potential Anyone But You 2, the Euphoria star shared she would be more than happy to work with Powell, 37, on a sequel of their 2023 rom-com movie.
She enthusiastically affirmed that she would be open to filming a second part, saying she and the Twisters actor would "jump in hand in hand" if the "concept and script" were right.
"We are always open to it," the Immaculate actress emphasised despite the swirling rumours about their relationship status after both stars’ recent breakups.
In 2023, The Housmaid actress and Powell’s on-set chemistry had fans speculating the duo were romantically involved despite Sweeney being engaged to her now ex-Jonathan Davino and the actor dating his now ex-girlfriend Gigi Paris.
Powell and Paris split during the filming of the movie, further fueling the romance chatter.
However, Sweeney remained firm on her stance that they are not romantically involved and recently told Variety that "Glen and I genuinely care for each other and have a love and respect for one another."
"I love being with him. And I think people just truly saw a really beautiful pairing," she added after Powell's ex Gigi claimed Powell and Sweeney leaned into the rumors for PR.
While no official announcement on the sequel has surfaced yet, Sydney, who starred as Bea in the lead role, has kept fans guessing with her cryptic answers to the burning question.
When asked about a second movie during an interview with Empire, Sweeney replied, "You’ll just have to wait and see."
"It’s not a no, and it’s not a yes. It’s a, 'I don’t have an answer that I can say for you," the 28-year-old teased.
Similarly when E! put forward the query during the Madame Web premiere, she dodged it, saying, "I can’t actually reveal all of my secrets, but Glen and I, I mean, I was talking to him this morning. We’re talking about stuff. You never know, you’ll have to wait and see."
Anyone But You was a blockbuster hit, grossing over 220 million USD worldwide.
