Sabrina Carpenter viral moment with Anne Hathaway steals fans hearts
Anne Hathaway becomes 'Juno Girl' after Gig Hadid at Sabrina Carpenter's concert
Anne Hathaway has also become a part of Sabrina Carpenter’s vial Juno Girl tradition.
The Manchild hitmaker performed in front of a sold-out crowd at Madison Square on first night of her Short n’ Sweet Tour in New York city.
She was surprised to spot the Princess Diaries famed Hathaway sitting in the front row of her gig.
A video has been making rounds on social media, where Sabrina suddenly sees Anne in the crowd and then playfully arrests her as her Juno Girl for being too pretty.
For the unversed, the Juno Girl tradition is part of Carpenter’s ongoing tour in which she selects a celebrity guest before singing her song Juno, a reference to Elliot Page and Michael Cera’ 2007 film.
In the viral clip, the 26-year-old can be heard saying, “I’ve just seen the most beautiful woman on earth and I do feel like it’s a crime to be this gorgeous.”
When she asked the Intern actress where she was from, Anne replied, “Genovia”, referencing her classic role as Mia Thermopolis in Princess Diaries.
Fans have been going crazy especially due to the Princess Diaries reference as it has made them nostalgic.
One of them reacted, “Girl that’s not Anne that’s Mia Thermopolis.”
Meanwhile, another wrote, “Sabrina’s double take! I would’ve never guessed the princess of Genovia would be at a SC concert!”
A third excited fan commented, “You can tell Sabrina is trying so hard not to fangirl.”
