Dwayne Johnson adds star power to Disney’s Zootopia 2

Dwayne Johnson officially stepped back into Disney’s world with a new animated role in Zootopia 2.

The actor is lending his voice to Zeke, a clumsy dik-dik who finds himself in trouble after a wild chase involving Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde turns into comic chaos.

The sequel to Disney’s 2016 hit is set to arrive in theaters on November 26.

The first Zootopia made over $1 billion worldwide and even won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature, so expectations are sky-high for the follow-up.

This time, fans will see Judy and Nick take on a fresh mystery filled with twists and laughs. 

However, the movie also features the return of Idris Elba as Chief Bogo, with new voices from Ke Huy Quan, Fortune Feimster, and Andy Samberg.

Directors Jared Bush and Byron Howard, known for Moana and Encanto, are leading the project. 

Bush shared that creating a sequel was all about balance, saying audiences want something familiar but still new enough to surprise them.

With Dwayne Johnson joining the cast and Disney promising an even bigger adventure, Zootopia 2 already considered as another animated blockbuster.
