Keira Knightley compares ‘Woman in Cabin 10’ with ‘Pirates of Caribbean’
Keira Knightley reveals the vast difference between the sets of both the projects
Keira Knightley drew parallels between her new film Woman in Cabin 10 with her hit franchise Pirates of the Caribbean Sea.
The Pride & Prejudice actress opened up about filming the yacht scenes, admitting the experience was far from glamorous.
"We were in the English Channel. It was cold, unsurprisingly for the Channel, really," she told The Sun.
Knightley added, "And we had the 25 crew and then we had 70 film crew and then we had 20 actors and we weren’t allowed to touch anything."
Sharing a list of arduous rules, they were made to follow, the Atonement actress said, "We weren’t allowed to sit on anything and we weren’t allowed to walk on the carpet. We weren’t allowed to eat or drink anything, apart from in tiny little designated areas."
Knightley sharing her thoughts said that it wasn’t what she was expecting from "a luxury super-yacht" and three weeks later couldn’t wait to head back to studios.
While comparing her time on yacht with one on the pirate ship, the Oscar nominee said, "The pirate ship is easier because you can break the pirate ship. Nobody is telling you not to sit or lean or walk or stand."
Talking about the luxury vessel, Knightley added that, "It was a particular challenge not breaking anything and knowing that, if you did break something, you’d get a bill for, like, £200,000."
