'It: Welcome to Derry' viewers get upset after premiere of first episode
Bill Skarsgård's 'It' series premiered on HBO Max on October 26
It: Welcome to Derry has officially premiered on HBO Max.
On October 26, the streaming giant released the first episode of the much-awaited show.
The first episode received a massive number of views and success. However, fans are still having a complaint with the series.
The were hoping to watch the whole show in one go, but that won’t be possible anymore as the makers are releasing the episodes one by one.
One of the viewers wrote, “Wait why only episode 1?” meanwhile, another wrote, “I was going to sit and watch the whole thing today. Why episode every weekend.”
“Only episode 1 and already cooking”, wrote a third internet user.
Where some are upset over the release of only one episode, there are some who felt discontented as there was not a single appearance of Pennywise in the premiere episode.
“Honestly man I’m underwhelmed, it’s been 7 years since the last IT and not one little tease at Pennywise in this Episode.”
The creators of Welcome to Derry will be releasing the episodes every weekend.
They have already teased the release date of the second episode.
Taking it to Instagram, they wrote, “Trick or treat. Don’t miss an early release of episode 2 on Halloween.”
HBO backed It series brings back Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise. The show focuses on the origin story of the hideous clown.
