Sydney Sweeney's friends ring the alarm over Scooter Braun romance

Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun seem to be happy in their budding relationship, but onlookers are not much pleased with the pairing.

The 28-year-old actress is reportedly facing interventions by her friends, who all but support her romance with the music mogul, 44.

The couple has been dating since June, when they were spotted in Venice during the destination wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez.

Given the music manager’s reputation in the industry, the Euphoria star’s romance worries her friends, because she could unintentionally get herself involved in some controversy, as a source told RadarOnline.

However, the insider added, "Sydney's saying it's nobody's concern, she's having fun and people have got it wrong because Scooter's a cool, chilled-out guy.”

Braun’s feud with Taylor Swift, and later Justin Bieber, has tarnished his reputation, which is why the White Lotus actress’ "friends say he's a wolf in sheep's clothing and you only have to look at his past to see that."

The source went on to add that “anyone interested in dating him should seriously rethink that because he's not to be trusted. They say he should be avoided with a ten-foot pole.”

The Anyone But You actress is reportedly not paying heed to her friend’s warnings and wants to make her own decision.

"Scooter has such a bad reputation, and the feeling is that Sydney could do much better," concluded the insider.
