Bill Skarsgård has opted to keep a low profile amid the ongoing hype of his upcoming drama series, It: Welcome to Derry.

Backed by HBO, the new horror thriller series is slated to release today on October 26 at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Ahead of the release the creators Andy and Barbara Muschetti along with the star cast promoted the show at multiple events.

But Bill was not spotted at any promotional events of Welcome to Derry.

Earlier today, one of the fan pages dropped a video featuring the Nosferatu actor casually playing some indoor golf hours before the release of his much-anticipated show.

The clip showed him wearing a black shirt on his perfectly toned physique along with a pair of ivory-coloured pants and black and white sneakers.

Skarsgård is maintaining a low profile during all the hype of the show. The HBO series is the much-awaited project of the month, and fans have high expectations from him.

Therefore, there is a possibility that he maybe nervous prior to the premiere of It: Welcome to Derry and this might be his way of releasing his distress.

On the other hand, fans are also not upset about him not attending the promotional events and playing golf, rather they are saying that “he deserve it all.”

It: Welcome to Derry is a prequel to the It movies directed by Andy. The series will focus on the origin story of Pennywise.
