Jeremy Renner has officially spoken about his involvement in the upcoming Avengers sequel.
The 54-year-old made his debut as Clint Barton aka Hawkeye with a small appearance in 2011 Thor.
Later, his character became a vital part of Marvel cinematic Universe with four films Avengers (2012), Age of Ultron (2015), Infinity War (2018), Endgame (2019).
Now that the new MCU film is in development, many fans have been curious to know if Hawkeye will be returning to Avengers: Doomsday.
In a recent interview with Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM, Renner was asked if his character would mark a comeback in the 2026 movie.
The Tag actor straight away without any hesitation said, “No No.”
After which the host then asked if he is worried that the makers would just replace him with a Hawkeye variant through the multiverse.
Jeremy’s reaction showed that he doesn’t care enough even if he gets replaced.
He added, "If they want to do that [replace him with a Hawkeye Variant,] they can go ahead by all means and do that.”
“I'm pretty busy myself”, the actor said.
Directed by the Russo brothers, Avengers: Doomsday is slated to release on December 18, reuniting Robert Downey Jr with Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, and Benedict Cumberbatch.
