Beatles films inspires director to make more Bruce Springsteen’s biopics

Deliver Me from Nowhere director, Scott Cooper, shared Bruce Springsteen's stance about his biopic.

The 55-year-old director revealed that the musician is ready to make a sequel.

During his appearance at the AFI Fest premiere of the biopic, in conversation with Variety, Cooper said, "I suppose if you can make four Beatles movies, you can make a couple of Bruce Springsteen movie."

"There’s so many chapters in Bruce's life, in all seriousness, that are quite right for cinematic treatment," he continued, "That’s something quite honestly that Bruce and I have discussed. I think he really loves this film. He’s loved the experience."

Talking about exploring Springsteen life on big screen, Cooper revealed that the Grammy Award winner feels "comfortable with someone" who is portraying a very "painful chapter in his life" referring to the difficult time shown in Deliver Me from Nowhere.

"I think he’s ready for more," Cooper added.

While Jeremy Allen White stars as Springsteen, Odessa Young plays his girlfriend Faye Romano and Jeremy Strong portrays manager Jon Landau.

The film follows young Springsteen journey after the success of his River Tour, as he records and releases his hit 1982 album, Nebraska.

Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere is now playing in theatres.
