'Nobody Wants This' season 2 is now streaming on Netflix: What to know
Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, and more return while Leighton Meester joins the cast
Kristen Bell and Adam Brody are back as everyone’s favourite unlikely couple in Nobody Wants This Season 2, now streaming on Netflix.
The hit romcom returned Thursday, October 23, with even more chaos, chemistry, and complicated conversations about love and faith.
Created by Erin Foster, the Emmy-winning series follows Joanne (Bell), an outspoken agnostic and sex podcaster, and Noah (Brody), a charming “hot rabbi” trying to lead his congregation.
Despite their opposing beliefs, the pair’s romance quickly deepened in Season 1 — and Season 2 dives into what happens after the fairy-tale ending.
The new season opens with Joanne and Noah firmly in their honeymoon phase. But as always, old wounds and new tensions bubble up.
The trailer teases more interactions between Joanne and Noah’s family, who now seem slightly more accepting of her, and even an unexpected friendship with Noah’s ex’s best friend (Jackie Tohn).
The returning cast includes Tohn, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Stephanie Faracy, Paul Ben-Victor, Tovah Feldshuh, D’Arcy Carden, and Sherry Cola.
Joining the mix this season is Brody’s real-life wife, Leighton Meester, who plays Abby, a mom-fluencer and Joanne’s old school rival.
"I don't know what I can tell you, but I do inevitably stir up some drama there," Meester told People, adding that the cast was “so kind and welcoming.”
Seth Rogen also appears this season as Rabbi Neil, alongside newcomers Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky, and Arian Moayed.
