Mason Thames opens up about 'easy chemistry' with Mckenna Grace

Mason Thames opened up about his bond with Mckenna Grace and the spark he felt when they first met.

The How to Train Your Dragon star and Young Sheldon actress are starring in Collen Hoover’s adaptation Regretting You as Miller Adams and Clara Grant.

Thames, in conversation with the People magazine revealed that they met a couple of months before they got on set and they "clicked immediately."

He shared that neither had to work hard to build chemistry between their characters due to "chemistry with Mckenna was so easy."

"From the moment I met her, we were in this Uber going to see, I think, Deadpool & Wolverine," he recalled. "And instead of it just being super, super-duper awkward for a first meeting, it was so funny and so awesome."

The Black Phone actor added, "We just clicked immediately. And ever since then, we just hung out all the time."

While their characters add soul to the film with their chemistry, the two stars hasn’t gone unnoticed off-screen, either. The pair were photographed holding hands in June, and sparked romance rumours after posting videos of them kissing on TikTok.

Regretting You also starring Allison Williams and Dave Franco is set to release in theatres on October 24.
