Selena Gomez leaves fans emotional with first release after wedding

Selena Gomez delighted fans with a new song release, In The Dark, which marked her first musical project after her recent wedding to Benny Blanco.

The 33-year-old singer and actress took to Instagram on Thursday, October 23, and shared a snippet of the music video for the song.

The music video showed the Love You Like a Love Song hitmaker grooving to the beat of her song while lip syncing against different dark-themed backgrounds.

“‘In The Dark’ is out now. This is just a little nostalgia droplet and I hope you love it,” the Only Murders In the Building star captioned the post.

Gomez was dressed up in a black tube top, matching sheer stockings, and a matching leather coat, in one of the sequences, and a black full sleeved top with the same stockings in the other.

The Disney alum’s excited fans flocked to the comments and expressed their feelings towards the song, with one writing, “We’re obsessed.”

Another wrote, “vocals, lyrics, the mv, EVERYTHING IS PERFECT A MASTERPIECE,” and “do I dare say QUEEN OF EDM!!!!” chimed in a third.

Many fans also noted the “nostalgic” tone of the song, noting similarities between the new release and her earlier songs.
