Joe Jonas responds to drug rumours after viral nose-fidgeting video

Joe Jonas is pushing back against recent drug use rumours after a viral video captured him fidgeting with his nose during a live performance.

In a new interview with Esquire, published Monday, October 20, the 36-year-old singer dismissed speculation, saying, “I’ve never touched cocaine in my life. But if I did, I think I’d be a little slicker about it than doing it onstage.”

The speculation started after footage from a Jonas Brothers JONAS20: Greetings from Your Hometown tour stop showed Joe briefly stepping out of view to check his nose in a mirror, alternating between his finger and a black cloth.

The clip quickly spread across social media, prompting accusations of drug use. Joe responded with humour, commenting on the video, “lol you never had a booger?”

In the same interview, Joe opened up about life on tour with brothers Kevin, 37, and Nick, 33, and its impact on his personal life.

“Five shows in a row doesn’t make it easy to meet someone for coffee,” he said, adding that he’s not on dating apps but has met people through Instagram and TikTok, joking that he’s “extremely online.”

Joe also discussed co-parenting with ex-wife Sophie Turner, with whom he shares daughters Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3. Despite their 2024 divorce, the former couple has reportedly found a groove that works. 

“There’s a mutual respect now, and the girls are their priority,” a source told People magazine.

AJ Michalka, another of Joe’s exes, recently shared her own positive reflection on reconnecting with him for a TikTok video set to “Potential Breakup Song,” calling it “really sweet” and “an awesome moment.”
