Adam Brody on perks of working with Leighton Meester on ‘Nobody Want This’

Adam Brody revealed what made filming Nobody Want This season two with Leighton Meester special.

Meester joined the cast of the Netflix series as a guest star named Abby, a former middle school nemesis of Kristen Bell's character Joanne.

During the premiere of the show at Los Angeles, Brody in conversation with the People magazine, shared the perks of having his wife on set.

"Driving to work together and getting a little alone time," he says, explaining, "It's sort of a date night."

Brody, and Meester tied the knot in 2014 and have since welcomed two children together, daughter Arlo, born in August 2015, and a son (whose name they have not shared publicly), born in October 2020.

Previously, Meester opened up about her guest spot in the series teasing that Abby will bring drama given her complicated romantic relationship with Brody's character, rabbi Noah.

"I don't know what I can tell you, but I do inevitably stir up some drama there," she said.

According to an official synopsis, season 2 of Nobody Wants This sees Joanne and Noah "fully committed to merging their lives and loved ones together."

Nobody Wants This season two is set to premiere on October 23.
