Debby Harry, frontwoman of 1974 pop band Blondie, expressed her wish for Florence Pugh.

Following the release of her book, Face It: A Memoir in 2019, the One Way or Another singer has now shared her thoughts on who she would like to play her.

The memoir discussed her rise in the downtown New York City scene of the 1970s to become a global superstar, as well as how she overcame heroin addiction, bankruptcy and Blondie breaking up.

The Heart of Glass crooner, in an interview with the Sunday Times, gushed about the Little Women star by calling her a "great actor" and wished Pugh would portray her in a biopic.

"If it were somebody like Florence Pugh, I would be in heaven," Harry told outlet. "I just think she’s a great actor and she could do anything."

Previously, the Midsommar actress has also rooted to play Harry, when asked about what famous figures she would like to portray.

"Blondie, just because she’s so cool," said Pugh at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in 2020, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The role would be seemingly perfect for the British actress as she not only is a critically acclaimed actress but also know her way in music.

She has appeared in her musician brother Toby Sebastian’s 2021 song Midnight, as well as wrote and performed the songs, The Best Part and I Hate Myself for her 2023 movie A Good Person.

While there is no such news of biopic receiving any green light from any filming studio to be considered on silver screen, Pugh is busy filming Avengers: Doomsday, in which she stars as Yelena Belova.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to release on December 18, 2026.
