Amy Robach, T.J. Holmes share engagement news 3-year after scandal
Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes sparked dating rumours in November 2022
Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are engaged.
The couple announced their engagement on the October 14 episode of their podcast, Amy & T.J.
"We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged and we've been engaged for just about a month now," Robach told listeners.
Holmes added, "We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to."
The couple joked about Robach wearing the engagement ring proudly at football stadiums, but no one noticed. "I was in three massive football stadiums three weekends in a row, wearing my engagement ring very proudly, very excitedly, and kept waiting for somebody to point it out or ask me, 'Hey, what's that?'" Robach said. "And if people saw it, maybe they were just being polite."
Robach and Holmes first sparked dating rumours in November 2022. They've been open about their relationship and have hit many milestones, including moving in together. Robach shared her vision for her third wedding on the podcast, saying she wants a small, intimate gathering.
"Justice of the peace. Vegas," she said. "I really would want it to be a very intimate gathering. And I would absolutely run off and elope somewhere."
The couple plans to share more details about their engagement in the future. For now, they're celebrating with family.
Robach and Holmes are known for their chemistry on and off the air, having worked together on GMA3: What You Need to Know.
