Karen Gillan has revealed how embracing motherhood has made her a multitasker, which is helping her with the career too.

The 37-year-old Scottish actress welcomed her baby Clementine last year in December with husband, Nick Kocher.

She opened that her responsibilities as a mother has pushed her to widen her skill set.

Karen disclosed that she has written a whole "horror script" while putting her to sleep.

While cradling her sleeping baby, the Doctor Who actress wrote a pilot for TV.

She confessed, “I’ve written a pilot for television in that haze because I didn’t figure out how to put the baby into the crib, so it was all contact naps.”

Gillan said that she could not understand how to pass the time while she puts the baby to sleep.

"So, I was like “what can I do right now to pass the time? I know I’ll create something”, added the Guardians of the Galaxy actress.

She went to say, “I was trying to type and then I was doing it on my phone and then I was like “I’ll just have it in my head and then get it out once the baby is not on me.”

Meanwhile, Karen also spoke about the script without disclosing much details.

According to her, “It is probably going to be the biggest undertaking of my life and I can’t really talk about it right now but it is in the horror space. It will be the hardest thing I’ve ever done”, reported Daily Mail.

Gillan last featured in Mike Flanagan’s The Life of Chuck alongside tom Hiddleston and Mark Hamill.
