Mark Ronson throws hat in the ring to DJ Taylor Swift's wedding
Mark Ronson on DJing Taylor Swift's wedding: 'I am keeping the year open'
Mark Ronson is vying to DJ Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's upcoming wedding.
The music producer revealed he's "keeping the year open" in hopes of landing the gig. Ronson recently appeared on BBC Radio 2's The Scott Mills Breakfast Show, where he shared his enthusiasm for potentially working with the couple.
"I think there [are] a lot of people putting themselves up for that gig. Me, I am keeping the year open as well 'cause you don't know [who might get that call]," Ronson said. He even joked about teaming up with Foreigner, a band that recently offered to play at Swift's wedding.
The Barbie composer recently had the opportunity to showcase his skills at Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's wedding, which Swift reportedly attended.
"I did DJ a wedding that apparently she was at a week ago. I did not see her on the dance floor, so I probably didn't do the best job of selling my services there," Ronson quipped.
Kelce proposed to Swift in August, transforming his Kansas City, Missouri, backyard into a flower garden.
Swift shared details about the proposal on The Graham Norton Show, saying, "He really crushed it in surprising me. … He went all out — 10 out of 10."
