Elliot Page reflects on reuniting with Christopher Nolan after 15 years
‘The Inception’ star Elliot Page talks about his ‘joyful experience’ on set of ‘The Odyssey’
Elliot Page has once again teamed up with the Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan, 15 years after starring in Inception.
Page, who starred as a brilliant young architectural student Ariadne in 2010 sci-fi film, also reflected on becoming confident in his work throughout these past years.
"I was so excited to be thought of for [The Odyssey] and to be asked to come back to work with him," the actor shared during his appearance at the X-Men: Days of Future Past panel at New York City Comic Con.
"I loved working with him on ‘Inception’ and loved being a part of that movie," said Page. "I was just completely jazzed and excited, and [I] basically went and met with Chris and talked about the part, then sat in a room and read the script. It was such a joy to come back."
The 38-year-old artist went on to talk about how personal growth and self - acceptance has influenced his approach towards acting.
"To come back now, as you can imagine, being more comfortable in yourself makes these sorts of projects more enjoyable," Page added. "To get to have a Chris Nolan experience again now meant so much to me selfishly."
In addition to Page, the highly anticipated film also stars Matt Damon, Anna Hathaway, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattison and many more.
The film is an adaptation of ancient Greek epic poem of the same name, which follows Odysseus, King of Itheca, on his 10-year long journey home from the Trojan War.
The Odyssey will premiere on July 17, 2026.
