Kirsten Dunst, infamous for her role as MJ in 2002 Spider-Man, shared what kept her moving forward in her career over the last 30 years.
Dunst, who is starring in Roofman along with Channing Tantum, credited her success to two key elements.
"Good friends and good family," she told People magazine during the premiere of Roofman in Los Angeles.
The Bring It On star went on to say that she feels "very proud" to still be making films and pursuing her passion after all this time.
"I think that I just feel very proud that I can keep doing films that I want to do, and that the industry has embraced me still and keeps doing so," she added. "I really appreciate growing up, finding my path and being part of making movies that mean a lot to me."
Dunst began her career when she was only 11-year-old, starring opposite Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise in 1994's Interview with the Vampire.
Later she received a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in the film.
Following her breakthrough, she starred in hit films like Bring It On and Spider-Man.
As of now her current film, Roofman is based on real-life story of professional thief Jeffrey Manchester (Tatum), a man who hid in a Toys "R" Us after escaping from prison, only to fall in love with a divorced mom (Dunst), further complicating his double life.
Roofman is set to premiere on October 10.
