Leighton Meester gave insight into her experience as a guest star on the second season of Nobody Wants This.
The Gossip Girl star is set to play Abby, a former middle school nemesis of Joanne (Kristen Bell). The actress will be starring opposite her husband Adam Brody, who is playing an unconventional rabbi named Noah.
Reflecting on her time on set, The Roommate actress said, "Obviously, I am a huge fan of the show for many reasons, but I've been so lucky to get to know everybody involved, and they've all] been so kind and welcoming."
She went on to describe her days filming the project, saying that "everyone has so much fun on it." Meester noted that it was "one of the most fun times that I've had on a set."
Playfully giving a nod to her husband, she quipped, "I also know somebody on it."
The mother of two also hinted at her character's role in the upcoming storyline, revealing, "I do inevitably stir up some drama there."
Nobody Wants This, follows love story between Noah, a newly single rabbi, and Joanne, an agnostic sex podcaster, as they attempt to make their relationship work despite major cultural differences.
The season two official synopsis states, "Joanne and Noah are fully committed to merging their lives and loved ones together. But their differences still exist and can’t be ignored. The challenge now is not just falling in love against all odds, but staying together in spite of them."
Nobody Wants This season 2 will premiere on October 23 on Netflix.
