Lauren Graham was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on October 3, surrounded by her Gilmore Girls co-stars in a heartfelt celebration reminiscent of Stars Hollow.

The event featured cast members Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Matt Czuchry, and Yanic Truesdale, with Sam Pancake, who appeared in the 2016 revival Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, serving as emcee.

Graham, best known for her role as witty single mom Lorelai Gilmore, expressed pride in her work and gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with talented writers and showrunners.

At the podium, she humorously noted the absence of two actors who played Rory Gilmore’s love interests, saying, “Czuchry is here. (Milo) Ventimiglia, no. (Jared) Padalecki,” before adding, “Points for Logan. Um, just points. Just points. It’s an ongoing system... It isn’t done yet.”

She also thanked fans for their kindness and enthusiasm, recalling, “I’m so moved when you come up to me in — usually at the airport bathroom — and tell me how much the show has meant to you and that you’ve shared it with a family member and maybe passed it on to another generation.”

Graham praised Gilmore Girls co-creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, saying, “Sometimes I feel we share a brain and kind of have a relationship where I hear what she intends when she writes,” calling the experience of delivering her scripts “an incredible gift.”

Sherman-Palladino, who also spoke at the ceremony, recalled initially worrying the role was “uncastable” until meeting Graham, whom she instantly knew was perfect. She called Graham “this wonderful woman who’s given me my career.”

While Alexis Bledel, who played Rory, did not attend, she and Graham reunited last month at the 2025 Emmy Awards.

Patterson, known for portraying Luke Danes, shared a video from the event on Instagram, writing, “Congratulations to Lauren Graham on your Hollywood Walk of Fame Star! I’m so proud of you!”
