King Charles' true feelings about Prince William's bold statement about his marital life are revealed.

For the unversed, the Prince of Wales made it to the headlines after he opened up about a number of his life events during a candid conversation with Eugene Levy.

Among many other topics, William's comments about his parents, Charles and Diana's divorce and its negative impact on his and Prince Harry's childhood circulated in the media.

At The Reluctant Traveler, he said, "My parents got divorced at 8, so that lasted a short period of time. But, you take that and you learn from it and you try and make sure you don’t make the same mistakes as your parents."

William vowed always to prioritise his family, especially his and Princess Kate's three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as his loved ones are the most important thing in his life.

The future King believes that children deserve a "happy, healthy, stable home" as he feels that "you’re setting them up for a bit of a hard time and a fall."

According to the claims, Charles and Diana's marriage ended due to Camilla's presence in the life of the then-Prince of Wales.

William did not directly mention his stepmother's name, but it has been said that his bold remarks were aimed at her.

Now, royal expert Phil Dampier shared that Prince William's comments might "upset" the monarch.

In conversation with Express.co.uk, he said, "The king may be slightly taken aback by the frankness with which William has spoken. He may be slightly upset that William has said that he made mistakes."

He added, "But they are undeniable; we all know that his first marriage didn’t work, and sadly, there are always consequences from that."

Phil mentioned that it was reported that William used to "push tissues under the door when he heard his mother crying as her marriage to the king broke up," which must have left a bruise over his heart.
