Henry Cavill got injured during training in pre-production for the film
Henry Cavill, whose upcoming film Highlander got delayed likely until early 2026 due to his injury, shared an update on his recovery.
The Man of Steel star took to Instagram to show his progress since the injury he got during training in pre-production for the film.
Cavill shared a carousel of images of himself doing a workout, while his left leg is in a boot.
He captioned the post, “Endure. In enduring, grow strong - Dak'kon, Planescape: Torment.”
Cavill stars in Highlander along with Oscar winner Russell Crowe, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, Dave Bautista, Marisa Abela and Max Zhang.
The remake of the film has been in development for over a decade.
It was first announced in 2009 at Summit Entertainment, spearheaded by producer Neal H. Moritz. Stahelski joined the project in 2016, and Cavill was attached as the star in 2021.
Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery lead the original 1986 Highlander, which sees an ancient clash of Scottish immortals reincarnate into modern-day Manhattan.
The film was a box office flop upon its initial release, but it achieved cult classic status on home video, spawning sequels, TV adaptations and spin-off novels.
While he is recovering from injury, his other upcoming projects include Enola Holmes 3, Voltron and In the Grey.
