BAHAWALPUR: A woman lost her life in a stampede during the distribution of ration among flood-affected people at Government High School Mauza Gul Muhammad Langah in tehsil Liaqat Pur on Tuesday evening.According to Rescue 1122, the victim, identified as Zaibo Mai, a resident of Basti Gul Muhammad Langah, died in the incident. Local residents confirmed her identity.
The ration was being distributed by philanthropists in coordination with the district administration. However, during the process, chaos erupted, leading to the fatal stampede.
