William Shatner, veteran Canadian actor, was rushed to hospital due to health scare.

This Wednesday afternoon, the 94-year-old experienced a medical emergency at his Los Angeles home after which he immediately shifted to a nearby hospital.

As per the reports of TMZ, the Star Trek actor made the call to medical emergency service workers himself after releasing that something was wrong with him.

They immediately sent a n ambulance to his residence as precaution.

Reportedly, he had issue with his blood sugar, which is why he was hospitalized.

The outlet has also reported that William was evaluated by the local hospital staff in detail. As per the source, the actor was now doing good and resting comfortably.

Globally known as Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek, the legendary star has been vocal about his health problems.

Back in 2024, he opened about his diagnosis of an aggressive form of stage 4 skin cancer called "melanoma" that spreads to other parts of body. However, he received suitable treatment for the illness.

It all started after he noticed a simple lump under his right ear and visited a family doctor for check-up.

He then took a second opinion after waiting for a month on which he found out that the lump was much more serious than he thought. Shatner underwent a surgery and got the ump removed.

Despite having such serious health problems, he did not step away from his work and active lifestyle.
