Kylie Jenner, Timothee Chalamet relationship put to test amid new pressure
Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner face major question as relationship gets serious
Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet have been dating for 18 months but the multimillionaire makeup mogul is reportedly ready to settle down.
The 28-year-old socialite and the actor, 29, appear to be smitten with each other and have met each other’s families so naturally, marriage seems to be a looming question.
However, a source shared that the Beautiful Boy star does not share Jenner’s wish to settle down yet.
Since Chalamet was shooting for Dune, "They had an entire month apart, and it was tough on Kylie – especially as rumors were circulating that Timmy was having a fine time without her and partying with the crew during breaks," the source told RadarOnline.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashian star and her beau have been a target of negative attention on social media and Jenner is not unaffected, rather the insider continued, "She's very affected by social media rumors, which is why she insisted on flying out when he had a break and asking for some reassurances about where they're at and how things will work when he's back in the States."
They added that the reality star wants to attain stability in their relationship by tying the knot, but he appears to be in a difficult position as "He's caught between a rock and a hard place because he does like his independence, but the last thing he wants to do is to drive Kylie away by being too noncommittal."
The insider cited the stark difference between the couple’s wealth as one of the reasons Chalamet is hesitant, with Jenner’s $670 million worth and his $25 million, which seems to be a “big test" of A Complete Unknown actor’s "ego and self-esteem," but he is also aware that "this relationship is done if he ever shows any insecurity."
