Legendary star Ethan Hawke dishes on collaborator Taylor Swift’s wedding

Taylor Swift is a household name in Ethan Hawke’s predominantly female family, but he knows her as a collaborator too, as he starred in her music video for Fortnight, from The Tortured Poets Department.

The 54-year-old actor is still not expecting an invitation to the much-anticipated wedding of the pop superstar, and her fiancé Travis Kelce.

The Dead Poets Society star shared, "I don't think I'm gonna be invited, but I can hope. I just want to be invited to a Chiefs game. That'd be fine. I don't need to go to the whole Megillah," in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

However, wedding invite or not, Hawke is still excited for the couple to mark this major milestone, "Good luck to them, I'm happy for them," he said.

The Before Sunrise actor previously gushed about the Eras Tour performer, recalling his cameo in her video, saying, "I thought, as I was flying out there, I thought, you know, I've worked so hard in my life, and I have a feeling this will be in my obituary. I might get a few other mentions," on Jess Cagle Show.

Joking about his obituary, he added that it would read, "You might know him as the doctor in the background of the Fortnight video, however, he did do some other things with his life."
