Princess Lilibet's transformation in new photo with Prince Archie wows fans
Meghan Markle shares a new picture of her children whom she shares with Prince Harry
Princess Lilibet’s hair transformation is turning heads.
A new photo of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, aired Sunday, September 21, in The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland — A Special Edition of 20/20, celebrating Disneyland’s 70th anniversary.
In the sweet snap, the siblings stand side by side admiring Lilibet’s Little Mermaid-themed birthday cake. While their faces aren’t visible, fans immediately noticed Lilibet’s noticeably longer, golden-red hair, which perfectly matches Archie’s.
Indeed, the four-year-old’s hair cascaded down to her back, as opposed to her shoulder-length locks visible in previous pictures shared by the Duchess of Sussex.
The image was quickly shared by fan accounts on social media, sparking a flurry of comments.
“Lili’s hair is something else – looks like dark blonde/golden,” one user wrote on X, while another gushed, “Lillibet and Archie OMG Lilly’s hair is SO TEA [orange-heart emoji].”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared in the special, reflecting on their Disneyland trip for Lilibet’s fourth birthday back in June. The trip was nostalgic for both Harry and Meghan.
“I went with my mom and my brother. I remember it very, very well,” Harry recalled. Meghan called Disneyland visits “the biggest treat in the world.”
Harry said on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in 2023 that his kids got their red hair from Princess Diana’s side of the family: “The Spencer gene is very, very strong… I was wrong! Go gingers.”
