Kensington Palace releases statement as William, Kate continue King Charles' mission
Prince William and Princess Kate shared an emotional message amid the major setback faced by the royals.
On September 23, the Prince and Princess of Wales fulfilled their promise of revisiting a tragedy-hit community at Southport.
The royal couple made a surprise visit to spend time with kids, teachers and families in order to showcase support after a horrific attack on a Taylor Swift-themed class, which took place in July 2024.
"A return to Southport today to see a community who are pulling together and healing in the wake of the tragic incident last summer," the couple's spokesperson wrote over photos from their unexpected visit on Instagram.
The future King and Queen's appearance at Southport came after King Charles received shocking news about Sarah Ferguson's controversial email to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The Duchess of York, famously known as Fergie, called him her "supreme friend," raising eyebrows.
Soon after the email lead, Sarah's spokesperson shared that she deeply regrets her move. But it is clear to say that it's too late, as a number of charities cut ties with Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie's mother.
