Katy Perry looked back on her successful past year while celebrating 143 album with a sweet note to her fans.
The Eye of the Tiger singer, who have just concluded her South American leg of the Lifetimes Tour on September 22, shared a lengthy note her social media.
The singer's Instagram post also featured some behind the scenes photographs of the tour.
"You KCs know I’m not one for anniversary posts," the lengthy caption began. "I tend to be mostly a futurist but it would be negligent of me to not acknowledge the incredible impact this last year has had on me."
Perry added, "1 year ago, 143 came out and I took the weekend to reflect. Records are snapshots of an artist trying to tell their story of where they are now or have been, and hope someone will hear themselves in some of the messages."
The Fireworks singer further described the album as an "I love you" to fans.
"Records are snapshots of an artist trying to tell their story of where they are now or have been, and hope someone will hear themselves in some of the messages," she wrote.
Perry, who split ways with fiancé Orlando Bloom after nine years, also added in her statement, "Whatever comes next, I’m letting it unfold naturally. No forcing, no controlling — just trusting the angels, the fans, and the music to guide me where I’m meant to go."
Following the conclusion of her South American leg of the Lifetimes Tour, she will head next to Europe, where she will perform at SSE Arena in Belfast, Ireland on October 4.
