Tom Holland shared a behind-the-scene detail about his supehero suit which he wears during filming of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

The Uncharted star, who is filming the upcoming fourth instalment in London and Glasgow, revealed that he swaps his suit every two weeks for a major reason.

In an interview with Esquire, Holland said that he thinks he receives a fresh Spider-Man suit once in a fortnight, after the interviewer suggested that the suit might get "musty" over time.

"Yeah, it definitely does. I probably get a new suit every two weeks, I reckon," Holland said.

The Impossible actor debuted as Spider-Man / Peter Parker in the MCU in 2016's Captain America: Civil War. Nearly a decade later the actor revealed that he is  now deeply involved in the creative process of the next Spider-Man movie.

"For me, I want to do justice to Peter Parker’s character," he elucidated. "I want to bring the fans something that’s really worthy of their time, and I’m very grateful for their investment in our franchise."

Clarifying his use of "investment," he explained that he doesn't mean "financially" but the time fans give to the franchise.

"I mean the time to go to the cinema three times. That's a big ask."

Elsewhere in the interview, Holland revealed that he quietly did his research on fans discussions between No Way Home and the new instalment.

He simply wants to capture "a vibe of what people were looking for" which is why he then presented the idea to Marvel about what they should be doing.

The actor noted that since this is his first creative involvement, it was quite stressful but they are "shooting absolute gold."

Zendaya is set to reprise her role in the upcoming film along with Jacob Batalon and Jon Favreau. Meanwhile, as per The Hollywood Reporter, Colón-Zayas, Sadie Sink, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Mando and Jon Bernthal will also star in the film.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is slated for release on July 31, 2026.
