Dean McDermott has opened about his current financial situation as his divorce from Tori Spelling continues to unfold.

Recently, a newly filed court documents dated September 5 emerged, in which the Due South actor outlined his income, debts, and custody arrangement with Spelling.

According to the filing, McDermott claimed that Spelling’s monthly income fluctuates significantly, ranging from $3,000 to $75,000 depending on her projects.

He mentioned that Spelling holds primary custody of their four youngest kids namely Stella, 17, Hattie, 13, Finn, 13, and Beau, 8, while he is granted visitation rights with Beau on specific weekends each month.

As far as his own earnings are concerned, Open Range actor estimated he brings in about $3,800 per month from his position as an alcohol and drug counselor at Conscious Community & Vanity Recovery.

He explained that his partner, Lily Calo earns around $600 monthly, but she does not have any contribution financially to their shared household expenses.

The 58-year-old also revealed that his acting and producing work has effectively dried up over the past year due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes and shifts in the entertainment industry as major factors.

The Canadian actor said he is facing more than $215,000 in debt, including an overdue $200,000 loan, over $12,000 in credit card balances, and a $1,200 dental bill he last paid in March.

Despite their separation in 2023, McDermott and Spelling believe in maintaining a cooperative relationship for their children. He has even praised his ex-publicly, applauding her performance on Dancing With the Stars last year and calling her “amazing.”
