Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s engagement could ‘ruin relationships’ for THIS reason
Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s engagement to ruin relationships in long-run?
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement might result in the fallout of several relationships.
Nikki Glaser, who is widely known for her boundless admiration for the pop superstar, shared her unfiltered thoughts on the highly anticipated engagement.
During an exclusive interview with several outlets at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, September 7, the 41-year-old revealed that the ceremony would “ruin some relationships,” and she explained why.
Recalling her reaction to the big news after it was announced on Instagram on August 26, she said: “I woke up from a nap and my phone was blown up. I thought someone had died. It's the best news.”
Although she admitted she hadn’t expected this to happen so soon, the comedian said she had anticipated the moment from the first time she watched the New Heights podcast.
She added: “I'm not one to say I saw it coming, but it was just very obvious to me that this was going to last forever. And after watching that interview on New Heights, it's just — that's the kind of guy you want your best friend to be with. So, as someone who feels like they're friends with her parasocially — I mean, I feel like every Swiftie couldn’t have been happier just to see her celebrated in that way and shown off in that way. He's obsessed with her, and that's what every girl deserves, and every guy deserves.”
In addition, she highlighted that people might ruin their own relationships because of their longing for a love as pure as the one Taylor herself envisioned years ago.
For the unversed, Swift announced the perfect beginning to her love story on August 26 in a heartwarming post on Instagram.
