Sharon Stone achieves big milestone after making major career move
Hollywood actress opens up about pursuing her dream to be a painter
Sharon Stone has recently made major career move as she turns into a painter.
The Basic Instinct actress, who has reportedly been nominated for The 2025 Women In Art Prize, opened up about her dream to be “recognised among women artists” after she took up painting during childhood.
“I learned to paint as a kid from my Aunt Vonne who had two masters’ degrees: English & Fine Arts,” said the 67-year-old.
Sharon explained, “Paintings are stories especially abstract ones.”
“I've entered my painting because I love women artists and my dream is to be recognised among them,” added the Casino actress.
Meanwhile, Sharon also shared that she had visual distortions after suffering from near-fatal brain hemorrhage in 2001.
“Since I had a stroke, I started seeing colour patterns on the wall,” continued the Total Recall actress.
Sharon further said that she had to “take medication to stop it,” but she never thought it went away.
“I still see all this extra colour everywhere,” added the actress.
To note, A Women in Art Prize exhibition will be held at York Street Gallery, London from September 16 – 24.
Moreover, the winners will be announced on September 17 at the British Library, Pigott Theatre.
