Jon Cryer shares his standpoint about 'Wall Street' actor in 'aka Charlie Sheen'
Charlie Sheen has finally responded to what Jon Cryer said about the former in upcoming Netflix documentary.
The streaming giant will be releasing a film made on the life journey of the 61-year-old Hollywood star in which Sheen will finally open up about the dark phase of his life involving his addiction to drugs and alcohol.
aka Charlie Sheen features the actors’s Two and a Half Men co-star Jon Cryer along with other popular names including Denise Richards and Chuck Lorre.
Cryer, in the film, shared his perspective on the turbulent phase in the Platoon actor’s life.
Hearing his viewpoint, Sheen felt the need to reveal how his tumultuous period affected his 61-year-old friend.
The Scary Movie 3 star added, “It was really cool to hear from his perspective,” Sheen said of Cryer’s comments in the documentary.
“He was in the line of fire with all that stupid s*** going on, and it was affecting him and his family and his career and all that. I can’t debate anything that he said”, he told PEOPLE.
Charlie admits that Jon was one of the most compassionate peoples during his rough phase.
Netflix backed documentary film is slated to release on September 10.
