Home Alone famed John Candy’s documentary film I Like Me’s trailer has been officially released.
Directed by Colin Hanks and produced by longtime fan Ryan Reynolds, the emotional film is based on the life journey of the popular American comedian.
It features some rare home videos, candid recollections from his collaborators and colleagues and a close access to his family. It reflects the story of a son, husband, friend and an artist.
The upcoming movie stars some really close friends of Candy namely Bill Murray, Eugene Levy, Catherina O’Hara, Macaulay Culkin, Tom Hanks and others.
All these actors have something to say and share about the late star.
In the trailer, Murray can be seen getting teary-eyed while recalling the time he spent with the Uncle Buck star.
“I can’t tell you what was right about John Candy, or what was wrong, but he was my friend. And I don’t wanna cry, but when I see him, when you see his face, I mean…”, says his Stripes co-star.
Meanwhile, John collaborated with Catherine in Home Alone. The 71-year-old actress said, “Even though John did distinctly different characters, but John was always there.”
The 2025 movie is slated to stream on Prime Video on October 10.
