Pedro Pascal has become a source of fresh wound for Tom Cruise as he continues to rise as a Hollywood star.
The 63-year-old actor, who has reigned over Hollywood for decades, is reportedly growing insecure of his position as the Materialists star, 50, appears ready to take on the role of Hollywood’s new heartthrob.
The Mission Impossible star have been closely following Pascal’s career as he did hit after hit movies, including Eddington, The Fantastic Four: First Steps and Materialists, and he seems to have gotten a competitor, as a source told RadarOnline.
"Pedro is pretty easygoing and couldn't care less, but Tom is not happy at all," the source alleged, adding, "He takes his crown as the world's biggest star very seriously and can be typically ultra-intense about it."
They continued, "Being the biggest male movie star represented by CAA is important to Tom and he's noticed how much energy the agency has thrown behind Pedro. That got Tom's attention, and not in a good way."
Cruise has grown uneasy of The Last of Us actor after he recently settled down his longtime tension with Brad Pitt who had been his rival for years.
However, they set their feelings aside and posed together at the red-carpet during Pitt’s F1 premiere.
