Paris Jackson makes first appearance after distancing herself from 'Michael'
Michael Jackson daughter Paris confirms no link to late father’s upcoming biopic
Paris Jackson stepped out for the first time since setting the record straight that she has nothing to do with the upcoming biopic, Michael, about her late father.
On Wednesday, September 3, the only daughter of Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe was spotted strolling in her native Los Angeles.
The Lost singer kept it casual in an orange-and-black tie-dye maxi dress, layered with a long brown cardigan.
The American Horror Story star wore her blonde locks loose and slightly tousled, falling messily over her shoulders.
She accessorised the laid-back look with layered chains, necklaces, and a pair of stylish shades.
At one point, Paris, born as Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, appeared to be listening to a voice note or message on her phone while flashing a peace sign.
Her latest outing came a day after she publicly distanced herself from Lionsgate's fully-authorised musical biopic, Michael.
The Let Down singer appeared to be infuriated after Colman Domingo, who portrays her great grandfather Joe Jackson in the MJ biopic, told People that Paris was "very much in support of our film."
The 27-year-old singer and actress claimed the movie isn’t entirely "real" and even called parts of it "full-blown lies," adding that she doesn’t like "dishonesty."
Despite her opposition she made it clear that fans excited for the biopic are free to enjoy it but just don’t involve her. "Leave me out of it," she said.
The $155M-budget two-part movie, starring Paris’ cousin Jaafar Jackson stars as the King of Pop, is helmed by Antoine Fuqua. Michael is slated to hit the US/UK theaters in 2026.
