‘TSITP’ fans outraged over latest episode of season three
‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ is nearing its end on September 17
The Summer I Turned Pretty viewers were left disappointed after the latest episode release.
Following the emotional charged episodes with Conrad (Christopher Briney) confessing his love to Belly (Lola Tung) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) calling off the wedding with Belly, the newly released episode nine felt like a lull in events.
In the episode, titled Last Call, followed Belly as she hopped on a flight to Paris. Meanwhile, back at Cousins Beach, Jeremiah, Conrad, Taylor (Rain Spencer), Steven (Sean Kaufman), and the rest of the characters tried to recover from the unexpected turn of events.
Although the episode did show a glimpse of Belly’s life in Paris, the fans duped the episode as "filler."
Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their disappointment over the dull episode.
A fan wrote, "Episode 9 for the summer I turned pretty wasn't for me. It was short & boring to my honest opinion."
"I swear to God, the episode 9 of the summer I turned pretty is basically Rage Bait at this point," added another.
One fan found the episode so much boring that they wrote, "This episode could have been an email."
The outrage came after fans thought that The Summer I Turned Pretty would end after the latest episode.
The much-loved series written by Jenny Han, is based on her book of the same name and follows Belly as she navigates adolescence and a love triangle between her childhood best friends, brothers Jeremiah and Conrad Fisher.
The Summer I Turned Pretty third and final season is set to end on September 17.
