MrBeast, the most-subscribed YouTuber, recently stunned fans by announcing that he bought NFL.

A video shared on YouTube by MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, featured the National Football League’s (NFL) commissioner Roger Goodell at a press conference.

The video titled “I bought the NFL” showed Goodell telling the public, “Today marks a historic first. The NFL is now under the ownership of one individual, Jimmy Donaldson, MrBeast.

MrBeast then jumps in, saying, “This is right. I officially own the NFL. I think it’s time for some changes,” announcing he would expand the roster from 53 to 54 players, with the final spot reserved for a YouTuber.

Several other youtubers were then shown getting drafted into NFL including iShowSpeed, Dude Perfect and Hayley Bayley.

To everyone’s surprise, the world’s biggest content creator then clarified that he did not actually buy the league.

YouTube recently gained the rights to broadcast the upcoming NFL game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers on September 5 and the video was a part of the promotional campaign.

MrBeast, who has over 413 million subscribers on YouTube, announced his entrance into billionaire club back in February, adding, “I don’t keep money for myself.”
