Lady Gaga reveals ‘magical’ role in upcoming ‘Wednesday’ season
Lady Gaga opens up about her cameo in Netflix series ‘Wednesday’
Lady Gaga has set the internet ablaze after unveiling her new song, The Dead Dance, from season two of Wednesday.
The 39-year-old singer, who rose to fame with her debut album The Fame, wrote the thriller-esque single for the upcoming season of the hit series.
The lyrics of the track are as follows, “When you killed me inside, that’s when I came alive. You’ve created a creature of the night. Now I’m haunting your air, your soul, your eyes.”
This comes hot on the heels of her announcement about her cameo in the second instalment of the acclaimed series, made during Spotify and Netflix’s Wednesday Graveyard Gala in New York City last week.
She said at the time, “I had a wonderful time working on Wednesday season two, even just being a small part of the show. I loved working with Tim Burton and Jenna Ortega, who plays Wednesday Addams, and everyone here—it’s so incredible. Thank you. I’m also here to confirm my song The Dead Dance is coming.”
For the unversed, the Abracadabra hitmaker will appear as Rosaline Rotwood at Nevermore Academy alongside Ortega’s Wednesday Addams.
