Tom Cruise to earn major 'title' with upcoming space-based film
Mission: Impossible star is set to achieve another milestone with his next project
Tom Cruise, who is widely-known for performing death-defying action stunts, will be featuring in a yet-untitled space movie following the success of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.
However, the movie was confirmed a few months ago, but further details were kept under wrap.
Finally, director Doug Liman has opened about the upcoming space-based project.
As per the reports of Collider, Liman added, “I’ve just finished this [Asteroid] so I’m now processing what next and what I learned, part of it will be how the audience reacts to it.”
“You’d rather I give you more concrete answers but you’re getting me totally raw”, the Edge of Tomorrow director said.
He further stated, “I don’t know where it leaves me. I know I want to do more in space… I am more excited about this idea of characters who have no business of going into space after making this. In the way, I was excited after The Bourne Identity.”
It is pertinent to mention that Cruise will unlock another major achievement with his next film.
The Top Gun: Maverick, with his upcoming flick, will earn the title of being the “first civilian to perform a spacewalk.”
