Margot Robbie discusses potential return as 'Harley Quinn' in DCU
'A Big Bold Beautiful Journey' features Margot Robbie with Colin Farrell
Margot Robbie, who is globally acclaimed for her wonderful depiction of Harley Quinn, has addressed chances of reprising the role again in DCU.
Currently, the 36-year-old Australian actress is busy promoting her new film A Big Bold Beautiful Journey with Penguin star Colin Farrell.
In one of the promotional interviews, Robbie was asked if she would like to return as Quinn in the reboot of DCEU under the ownership of James Gunn and Peter Safran.
The Barbie actress had no hesitation admitting that it would a fun character to revisit.
However, she has not actually been asked out to play it any projects yet, but she is willing to do it again.
While speaking with ScreenRant’s Ash Crossan, Margot said, “No, I haven’t actually [been asked about Harley Quinn] yet [today]! She’d be a fun one to revisit too. She’s so fun to play.”
Previously, there were reports claiming that the Weapons director Zach Cregger is eager to join the DCU as he had secretly prepared a Batman based script which also has Joker and Harley Quinn’s part.
So far, the filmmaker has not received a green light from Gunn and Safran, but he has shown his interest in joining superhero world.
Meanwhile, Farrell and Robbie’s upcoming romantic comedy is slated to release on September 19.
