Colin Farrell opens up about his first collaboration with 'Suicide Squad' star

Colin Farrell and Margot have teamed up for their first ever collaborative project titled, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey.

The two actors are widely known for playing the famous DC characters Penguin and Harley Quinn.

This is the first time Colin and Margot will be featuring together in a romantic comedy film.

During a chat with Variety, the 49-year- Irish actor spoke about his working experience with the Barbie actress.

Farrell admitted that he appreciates every moment he has experienced while filming for the upcoming project.

While gushing about Robbie, the In Bruges star added, "I’ve heard the most extraordinary things about [Margot] through the years from the people that have worked with you both in front of and behind the camera.”

According to Colin, people claim that she is fun, brilliant actress and the loveliest person, “but they didn’t say that because that is stating the obvious, and the other stuff I didn’t know, and all of it was very true and then some.”

The Academy Award nominee further stated, "It was a joy every day to be on the set with her. She’s so smart, she’s so brilliant, but she’s just kind and fun."

Directed by Kogonada, the forthcoming drama film is slated to release on September 19.
