Pedro Da Silva boasts an undefeated professional record of 4-0-0
Brazilian boxer Pedro Da Silva left the boxing world stunned as he delivered a brutal blow to Renny Viamonte, which many claimed “Knockout of the Year”.
The first fight of the night on the MVP Prospects 14 card at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando ended with Pedro’s brutal punch that sent Viamonte crashing.
The “KO of the year” landed on the money as it almost broke the jaw, sending Viamonte’s head almost of his shoulders.
As the Cuban fighter fell on the ground, referee Alicia Collins waved the fight off immediately and commentators were stunned by the sheer force behind the right handed blow.
Viamonte remained down and out for a scarily long time as one of the commentators said, “Pedro Conceicao sleeps Viamonte in round two and it’s a bad knockout. He is out cold.”
Another proclaimed, “Oh my goodness.”
Jake Paul, who witnessed the fight alongside the commentators, published a video featuring the KO moment on X, formerly Twitter, and captioned: “KO of the year?”
The Youtuber turned professional boxer wasn’t the only one who claimed the punch to be one of the best the world has seen this year as many others also shared similar judgements.
Boxing Kingdom expressed, “KO of the year”, Ring Magazine wrote, “Insane KO. Did Pedro Da Silva Conceicao just score the knockout of the year?”
