Blake Lively makes bold career move amid ongoing lawsuit
Blake Lively takes on new project amid ongoing legal battle
Blake Lively is once again set to make the most of her career in rom-coms amid Justin Baldoni’s legal battle.
The 37-year-old star, who has been embroiled in a series of lawsuits since December 2024, is set to take on a role in the upcoming action rom-com The Survival List.
According to Deadline, the synopsis of the film is as follows, “Annie, a highbrow reality TV producer who, against her wishes, is assigned to a new show hosted by famous survival expert Chopper Lane.”
It further specifies, “Annie discovers Chopper is a fraud and knows nothing about survival, leaving her in charge of figuring out how to keep them alive. As they are forced to work together, they unexpectedly discover an unlikely chemistry.”
The film will be Lively’s first project since she accused her It Ends With Us co-star of sexual harassment and retaliation.
Despite the Gossip Girl star’s strong statement about the co-producer, Jane the Virgin star has denied all such claims and is ready to share his side of story.
For the unversed, the case is scheduled to go to trial in March 2026 after an exchange of multiple lawsuits between the two parties.
